Official Ribbon Cutting and Website Launch of LinaTv247

Governor Umaru Mohammad Bago of Niger State has promised that his administration is ever ready to provide relevant support to media stations in the state to project the programmes and policies of the government.

The Governor made the promise during the official ribbon cutting of Linatv and website launch, a subsidiary of Elina Media Limited, held at NCWS building, old secretariat, Minna.

The governor who was represented by the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Hon. Binta Manman congratulated the management of the LinaTv for coming up with a medium for disseminating information saying is timely, while pledging the administration’s support through partnership and patronage.

Chairman of the occasion and former governor of Niger state Dr, Muazu Babangida Aliyu in his goodwill message said it is a thing of joy that Linatv is owned by a Nigerlite, and he is sure the station will serve and have a direct impact on the people of the state.

In separate remarks, the speaker, Niger State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Abdulmalik Mohammed Sarkin Daji, LINATV BOT Chairman, Professor Abdulrasheed Haruna, Provost Collage of Education, Professor Auna, and His Royal Highness Emir of Minna, Dr. Faruq Umar Faruq Bahago speak.

Earlier, the Managing Director, Chief Executive Officer, Elina Media Limited had expressed her gratitude and appreciation to the dignitaries that attended the official unveiling of the station.

The highlight of the occasion was the symbolic unveiling of the TV station and website lunch.
