INTERNATIONAL ENGAGEMENTS
Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago of Niger State has held several international meetings during his visit to the United Nations with global figures such as the Secretary-Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations, Amina Jane Mohammed, Ambassador Lot Peter Egopija, Consular General of Nigeria High Commission in New York, and Prof. Tijjani Muhammad-Bande, Nigeria’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations.
The meeting was aimed at showcasing the abundant potential of the State to have positive collaborations, seeking partnership as it affects agricultural rejuvenation, education, energy, healthcare and many other spheres of the economy.
Governor Umar Bago explained that his administration will remain committed to ensuring that Niger state would be one the most important partners in Nigeria.
