Governor Umar Bago has charged the police force to remain focused in discharging their duties

Governor Umar Bago said this at the commissioning of a new police post at chanchaga community in minna.

The governor assured the police force of government readiness and continuous support to help coup crime in the state saying there is need for more police recruits.

Speaking at the commissioning, commissioner of police Niger state command cp Ogundele Jousoua Ayodeji expressed his gratitude to the governor Rt. Hon Umar Bago for building the new police post after the demolition of the old one saying is a blessing to Chanchaga community and shows the extent of the enabling environment provided by the state government for the police to operate in the state for the purpose of law enforcement and orderliness in the state.

Also commending the governor for providing patrol vehicle and logistics such as fueling and allowances to the security agencies in the state, saying it has help to reduce crime and criminality in the metropolis.
